Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved the hotel's prime location in the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, just a stone's throw away from the bustling town center. The rooms were spacious, clean, and light, offering a pleasant view of the church square. While the room decor was basic and could use an update, the noise from the nearby outside dining area was a bit of a distraction at times.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was charming and less crowded than other touristy areas, and the dining options were varied and satisfying. However, the rooms lacked proper soundproofing and cleanliness, and the cash-only payment policy was inconvenient.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room had evidence of a previous break-in and lacked certain amenities like a safe and fridge, but it did offer views of the mountains. However, being on the first floor next to the alley and above the outside dining area made for a noisy experience. The service, while helpful with laundry and bicycle storage, seemed a bit stressed and preferred cash payments. The location on Ludwigstrasse was charming, close to town, and near some great restaurants, but there was constant noise from the bustling commercial areas. The dining experience provided a decent variety of food, though it was very simple. Despite some shortcomings, the facilities met basic needs.
