I absolutely loved the hotel's prime location in the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, just a stone's throw away from the bustling town center. The rooms were spacious, clean, and light, offering a pleasant view of the church square. While the room decor was basic and could use an update, the noise from the nearby outside dining area was a bit of a distraction at times.

Rooms
8.0
My room was a perfect retreat - spacious, clean, and bright with a lovely view of the church square.
Service
7.0
The staff were attentive and helpful, especially with arranging laundry services and bicycle storage. However, their busyness with the restaurant customers was noticeable.
Location
9.0
The location couldn't have been better, right at the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, only a short stroll away from the town center. Although close to the church with its ringing bells, it added charm rather than disturbance to my stay.
Dining
6.0
The dining options at the hotel left a bit to be desired. While dinner was satisfying, breakfast was limited, notably struggling even with basic dishes like egg omelets.
Facilities
6.0
It could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall guest experience.

6.4/10

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was charming and less crowded than other touristy areas, and the dining options were varied and satisfying. However, the rooms lacked proper soundproofing and cleanliness, and the cash-only payment policy was inconvenient.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had a single bed with no headboard and showed signs of wear and tear, including stains on the carpet and holes in the wall. Unfortunately, there was no soundproofing, and the cleanliness was subpar.
Service
6.0
The service at the hotel was a mixed bag. While some staff members were friendly and helpful, others were seen smoking in areas that affected the room ambiance negatively.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was truly a gem, offering a charming and historic atmosphere with easy access to both German and Austrian points of interest. However, the acceptance of only cash payments on checkout was inconvenient.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience offered a wide array of fresh items for breakfast, making it easy to find something for every palate. However, the dining experience was just okay overall.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel's facilities provided convenient access to ski pistes and offered generous portions in the restaurant. However, the cleanliness of some areas left something to be desired.

6.2/10

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room had evidence of a previous break-in and lacked certain amenities like a safe and fridge, but it did offer views of the mountains. However, being on the first floor next to the alley and above the outside dining area made for a noisy experience. The service, while helpful with laundry and bicycle storage, seemed a bit stressed and preferred cash payments. The location on Ludwigstrasse was charming, close to town, and near some great restaurants, but there was constant noise from the bustling commercial areas. The dining experience provided a decent variety of food, though it was very simple. Despite some shortcomings, the facilities met basic needs.

Rooms
5.0
The room had evidence of a break-in and lacked amenities like a safe, fridge, and tea/coffee facilities. The cheap and damaged furniture didn't contribute to a comfortable stay. However, the views of the mountains were a redeeming factor.
Service
6.0
The staff were helpful with laundry and bicycle storage, but they seemed stressed and lacked hospitality. They requested cash payments despite the availability of a Visa machine.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location on Ludwigstrasse in Partenkirchen was charming, within walking distance to the town center and near some great restaurants. However, the noise from the bustling commercial areas was a constant drawback.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was extremely simple, with no standout options. The food provided was good and filling but lacked variety.
Facilities
7.0
Basic facilities were available to meet essential needs.
